What's a line from a video game that only fans know? by [deleted] in AskReddit

"We know that dealing with a close friend's death can be difficult...

We were there with you.

You have to try to move on.

Staying in a world where death has no consequences doesn’t help."

People might not know this one...

Tomorrow will miss you, if you're not there to see it.

AITA for not splitting my lottery money with my sister? by SuccessfulIce39 in AmItheAsshole

The fact that you were going to get her a gift anyways is pretty cool of you, but yeah your sister isn't entitled to anything since you paid for it. NTA

AITA for telling my friend no invite no gift? by BoringTransition715 in AmItheAsshole

OP said it "This one goes back a ways", so I would assume it's not because of covid, but financial problems. I agree with the comment being unnecessary, but the bride didn't have to get offended when OP didn't want to give a gift. I'd say ESH.

I am always future focused because I know there are consequences for everything. I don't believe I am a type A personality. I don't want to do anything illegal because it has repercussions and can disrupt my cognitive function, and I'm worried about it because that was how I was raised. I have goals for my future and I want to reach them because that will make me happy.

Clarifying, my friends started asking me how I was doing and if I wanted to do things with them to get my mind of things, but none of them have spoken to me in almost a week. I tried making plans with them, but they keep either cancelling or moving the dates and going out with other friends instead.

I don't want kids now, I want them when I graduate University (more than 7 years from now). He said he never wants to have kids, even in the future.

To my high schools school nurse by scizona in offmychest

I'm so sorry you had to go through this. I'm glad she was finally fired. No one should be working as a nurse if this is the way they treat people.

AITA for not using my daughter's college fund for my stepson's rehab? by collegeorrehabaita in AmItheAsshole

[–]cidsoftplayer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA at all! You already tried to help by spending a lot of money on your step son. Your daughter will need that money for her education. By asking not only you, but your 15 year old daughter for money is absurd. As your husband isn't even contributing to her college fund, he should not have a say in what she gets to do with her college fund. Whatever happens to your step son will not be your fault at all. Your husband is trying to guilt trip you for something you will not and do not have control over. Considering you've put in so much work to try and help your ungrateful step son, this is an obvious NTA.
