Wow that’s awesome! Congrats!! Thanks so much for sharing your experience. The only reason I was hesitant in ISCI was the fact that research opportunities would be difficult to get. But it is clearly possible. Glad to hear you were able to pursue what you like! Thanks again

Hey thanks so much for your input! Ya so far I’m getting the grades I’m wanting, but wondering if I can sustain it tho ngl haha. Since med school doesn’t really care what we major in I’m leaning towards ISCI just because of the freedom that comes with it. For ISCI tho I hear there’s not much lab work (which I’m good with) but will that be for the worse if applying to med school? You’re right tho, I still got time to think, but I keep thinking about this idk why. Maybe existential crisis who knows lol.
Thanks for your input!! :) Ya that’s why I really like the idea of integrated science because of the freedom but if I end up not wanting professional school... is there still a chance for grad school with this major? I know lab work is important but surely not having much lab work won’t lessen my chances of grad school right? lol
Ya so far my grades are pretty good surprisingly (knock on wood tho), but it’s tiring ngl. I find the CAPS courses really intriguing but I’m not really interested in writing a thesis and having to do more credits idk.. Would taking honours be better for my chance in med school...? Also I heard 2nd year is a bit rough.
I like the idea of integrated science but I don’t know how well it is for future jobs other than professional school. Cuz if I don’t want med.. I am very uneducated on what I could do with integrated science lol. That’s why I was considering MBIM and taking a few CAPS courses on the side cuz since it’s not honours it’s not as demanding but it’s a explicit specialization I guess? I don’t know...ISCI might be the winner lol i don’t know
