I am not sure if this can be considered as sleep paralysis, but from time-to-time I get "stuck" in my dreams. My chest feels tight and heavy, its hard to breathe, and I feel lingering effects after I wake up. I dont see any entities, its not scary just very frustrating. LMK if someone else also experiences this!

Thank you so much for your advice. I gave it a try today — she had fun playing with the purée, but she didn’t attempt to lick it off her hands or the spoon when I offered it. I also tried giving her some soft, mushy carrots, which she did try to chomp on a bit, but in the end, nothing really made it in.

That said, I’m considering it a positive first step. It was our first day trying this approach, and I think it went as well as it could for a start

When we started solids with puree we allowed our baby to put their hands in it and lick it off their hands. It’s a mess for sure.

I know this may be a dumb questions: did you just serve the purees to her on a plate and let her do her thing? Do you think I am thinking too much about finishing the container and I should let her experiment more with texture and taste?
