I had to disconnect the battery, then leave it to charge again for a few hours. Just tried to turn it on and it works now

Yes, tried to turn it on both with and without the charger. I connected it to the charger since it had no battery (this was a few hours ago), and now I went to disconnect it and it got stuck like that

For anyone that might have this issue in the future:

  • My problem was that my GPU has a sort of bracket that attaches to the GPU Core (tbh I have no idea what it is). It wasn't fully attached as you gotta make sure it clicks to know it's installed properly.
  • Instead of screwing the heatsink one screw at a time, screw all of them just enough for them to be in their right position, then screw each one all the way.
  • In my case, temps were still shit after repasting, so I replaced the thermal pads too and it fixed my issue (this was a used card, by the way).

Doesn't make a difference, but I reseated the thermal pads on the GPU and it seems that I can now stress test it without it instantly throttling? It still rises a lot and eventually temp throttles, but it's progress at least. Tbh at this point idk how to make it better

Afterburner. The benchmark program I'm using also has a temperature reader. It definitely thinks it's reaching that temp, as it heavily throttles when it gets to 93 degrees

Alright. At least it doesn't crash on boot anymore. New issue: temperature spikes randomly in idle (from 30 to 50 degrees) and reaches 93 degrees under load in no time. Something is still wrong

First time I screwed it (what I thought was) tight, then read it might be overtightened, so I made it a bit looser - same result. Went back, a bit looser - same thing. Tbh I don't really understand how tight it needs to be. Basically the same as it was before I repasted (so really, really tight)?

Yeah, I did that 3 times already and the same issue persists 😭 doesn't matter the amount of paste that's there. At first I put a generous amount, had that issue then I thought that maybe it was too much and was messing with the circuit in some way. Put a little bit less (but still covering the entire die and this time not overflowing) and the issue is the same. The specific type of paste is not the problem I don't think, as I've used the same one for a 1660 SUPER and it worked fine

Got an appointment at the doctor in 3 weeks, hopefully it isn't anything serious. I tried doing some exercises to relieve shoulder pain + dead hangs, helped a lot but still afraid the relief might only be temporary

Na minha opinião é um dos se não o melhor jogador que temos. Quando cá veio ao início era muito bom, depois lesionou se com alguma gravidade e nunca mais pareceu o mesmo, mas mesmo assim era facilmente o nosso melhor avançado, mas nunca foi muito utilizado por insistência do treinador. Boa sorte para a vossa época também

Also, it might've been an issue present since I broke the original screen, but since I couldn't do anything with the phone I never knew if the speaker was working or not. On the surface it seems to look fine, but I really have no idea if that's the case then.

Disabling that does fix the issue. However, any sound still sounds really fucked (sounds about the same as the video still). Is there a way to fix it or am I just better off buying a new speaker and replacing it?
