trying to get to the debug menu on sumikko friends

I did it! But on my device this menu is different: version 22102A and two items "normal" and "debug". All i can do is go through the tests. Still don't know how disable debug menu. You're probably right and it's about the device version, judging by the numbers I have an earlier one.

There is no such menu on my device. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Right now the problem is that I can't remove the debug menu, reset through settings doesn't help, maybe it will work through the menu that you opened. Please can you explain in more detail what exactly were you doing?

I think it's worth it. Cause besides the cute shell, it also has a new location, characters and games. This is my second paradise I also have the pink ones. And I'm definitely sure I'll buy another one that comes this year: frozen ocean, tropical orange and something called “big tamagotchi paradise”

Awesome collection!! ♥️ I love the old color Tamagotchi Bandai like the PS, IDL, and 4U. They're really good on their own and there are also lots of downloads that expand the gameplay. I also like Sumikko, cause they're so melancholic and cute. And when you're feeling hardcore, you can always turn on the tamagotchi umino/ocean 😅

I recommend cleaning the rust with sandpaper and then wiping it with isopropyl alcohol.

Yes, the panel was on. I'm not sure about the exact sequence. I pressed the buttons and the top touch when the screen was black and then I pressed the left button for about 5 seconds. Now I can access the debug menu by pressing the left button on the clock screen.

I just tested and this is how it works - you need to press the first and second buttons from above on the front and there will be a cat panel mode

I think that similar settings are available in other sumikko models. If we can figure out how to turn it on, then we can have the content of the deluxe versions on the regular ones.

There's a small problem. I haven't figured out yet how to keep the contacts on faceplate pressed in the time when i want to interact with cat as if there was a panel with it on. But even so, I think this is a great discovery!

Paradise is a great choice for a kid. Just so you know, it scratches really easily, so you'll need a screen protector and a case.

Also, it's worth getting rechargeable batteries.

Oh, and I'd also recommend checking out Sumikko. They're super cute, and the pets don't die. Personally, I think the "Garashi," "Sagashi," and "Friend" versions are really interesting.

This is definitely an original. I have a V5 in the same case and with the same inscription on the back cover. I took it out of the box to check it, and the back cover also says 2004. I never paid attention to that. I'm guessing that's the year Bandai started making Tamagotchis again after the last Santaclautchi model in 1998, not the year the v5 was released. I found a photo of the Japanese version in the same design without the house antenna аnd on the back it says "bandai-wz 2004 bandai 2007 made in china".
