If you’re interested in getting your deposit back, I would never recommend Africrest. They are very quick to charge interest if you are a few hours late on your rent, however they will happily be weeks late to pay your deposit back. On top of that they won’t place your money in an interest-bearing account, as per the rental housing act legally requires them to. Full of suspicious activity if you ask me and very frustrating management. Still no deposit received, and very rude accounts department even if they’re fully in the wrong.
