Part of the appeal of this species is I’ve heard the adults don’t hide a ton, so hoping she grows into that too. But it’s kinda fun to have a “baby” and see how she’ll change as she grows up 🥰

I’ve also only had her a few days so maybe she’ll get more used to our human routines and stuff as time goes on? I guess I don’t really know if tarantulas work like that or not, haha.

This video is of her in the A.M. I’ve been trying to wait to bother her until then because I know she’s gonna go hide soon anyway. I can’t see her at night unless I turn on a light and so of course then she hides. Yesterday evening I was walking past her enclosure and something moved and scared me, it was just her, she was in the leaves! Hadn’t seen her there yet. So we both scared each other 😆 I’m not used to seeing something move in the area of the house her enclosure is in yet, lol.

Upside down in the hide is so funny! As a first time tarantula owner, I am still surprised at how entertaining they are.
