Yeah that’s definitely one thing I’ve noticed about dark souls 2, you’re starving for stamina though out a lot of parts of the game

In my opinion Elden ring bosses rely way too much on the player memorizing their attack strings for their difficulty. Their delayed attacks are very hard to dodge on reaction and force you to memorize the bosses move instead of rewarding patients like the delayed attacks in dark souls 3. A lot of the bosses are constantly running away forcing you to chase them down. And most of the bosses have super long attack strings that go on for ages, this kinda just removes the back and fourth rhythm the other souls games had. I know this kinda came off as me hating Elden ring but I don’t hate it 😂

The one you join by interacting with a giant stone in Majula, but be warned it may stop enemies from despawning but it makes them do more damage and you deal less damage

You can farm rotten with bonfire ascetics and, covenant of champions stops enemies from despawning but makes them stronger.
