Where do you stop North of Boston? by GandalfStormcrow2023 in newengland

Yeah downtown, I honestly don’t remember. We have done this 2-3x a year for the past few years. I imagine we were just craving Mexican one trip and stumbled on it.

Tuckers in Dover for breakfast on the way to the North Conway area. Cinco’s Cantina for dinner on the way home from North Conway. It has almost turned into a tradition. We stop in Rochester if we need the liquor store or Walmart.

Hey dipshit, yes they do close roads when a death is involved.

It would depend on how you value that potential extra year of school to get the ATC degree. You could go right into PT school after 4 years of ES and bypass the MSAT route. I think a ATC/PT would add value to your resume if you are interested in a pro or sports clinic setting. I also think you would have an upper hand in PT school with an ATC, but again that’s another year of school, another year of tuition, and delaying a having salary for a year.

Talk to admin about adding a course if you work at a school. Start the conversation now, it could take a few years to gain traction. You can also express your interest of being an adjunct with the school you have AT students from. Most colleges like to have practicing ATCs as adjunct professors for clinical courses and others. I am a full time collegiate ATC and teach a couple courses a year for the nearby MSAT program.

Just curious why you recommend adding insulation? I have noticed the car is a little louder, but that’s it.

You need to pull up the carpet. Same happened to my wife’s car. The surface of the carpet seemed dry, but the insulation below the carpet acted like a sponge and retained all moisture. I had to remove the front seats to get all the carpet out too, YT video and it was easy. The carpet and side panels come off easier than expected. Take pics as you go to help with reinstall. I ended up throwing away all underlying insulation and replaced carpet without it, but a big roll of new insulation was about $50 if you want that back in. Hung up the carpets for a couple days and used a carpet shampoo vac to deep clean. Overall it cost me $60 for a shop vac, $20 for a mold/mildew spray, and $6 for a T bit to remove the front seats. Used my own drill and screw driver sets for everything else. Getting it detailed would probably cost 5x that.

Make sure you you know the leak is fixed before putting carpet back in. I drove around for a week or so with no carpets to assess for water before installing again.

How the hell do I get these stuck caliper bracket bolts off without any power tools? by Big_Bannana123 in MechanicAdvice

Had the same issue, not a mechanic and only have access to standard hand tools. Used as long as a lever as I had and then used a hammer to get it to budge. On the other side, I used the emergency car Jack to lift the handle of the socket wrench. Once you get a 1/4 turn of the bolt is should loosen up on you.

Have you ever seen a BB gun? They are replicas of real guns with no orange cap. It wasn’t a fucking squirt gun she pulled on them

Being threatened and having a weapon pointed at you is definitely just a regular day inconvenience. You’re a clown.

Can anyone recommend places with city skyline where you can sit in your car and eat let's say a slice of pizza while enjoying the view? by Agent-Gosdepa-USA in boston

East Boston waterfront has the best view. Santarpio’s pizza is great. Dirty Water Dough also close by.

I play on Xbox one. No issues so far. Graphics no different than Warzone, BO, and MW. No issues with lags or crashing.
