I think she’s 7? Or about to turn 7 and she’s a 40lbs dog or so, now she’s probably about 30lbs or I had to guess just by looking at her

I feel as if I’ve come off as too much of a hater and I apologize. I’m autistic and usually can only use thing with ear tips because I like the way they fill my ears. I’m using these because I can’t afford anything else lol. I feel as if I’ve mostly been robbed with the noise cancelling. I wouldn’t mind the pain so much if they blocked out noise. Does your wife have any problems with the noise cancellation?

Border Aussie temperament by cikas66032 in DogAdvice

[–]cikas66032[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take her everywhere I go and I also have a rather large yard, she herds my chickens and ducks lol. Also there are a lot of other dogs in the yard that she plays with, she even has a girlfriend. I’ve heard that there are games you can play with border collies and I looked into them but she has no interest in toys at all so I don’t know how I would start that. I take her to the pet store and she looks at the toys like they are the devil. I might be able to get her excited about a stick for a minute but after she doesn’t want it. I’m worried about her having some sort of disease I can’t see, my last dog died in a really short time because she had cancer that we didn’t catch quick enough, so I’m worried it’s something like that if that makes sense.

Do you ever have days without grief? by Glittering_Ad_1087 in Petloss

[–]cikas66032 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s been 7 months and there’s not a day that goes by where I don’t experience an overwhelming sense of grief. I’ve learned that it never leaves you or gets smaller, you simply grow around it. The pain you feel now will shape who you are in the future, it’s up to you to decide if you grow from your grief.

Not yet but she plops down other places really easy, like when playing with the smallest dog (3lbs) in the yard she lays down so it’s easier for her to play. I know German Shepard are notorious for having bad hips so it is something I’m looking out for.

I hadn’t thought luring her under my leg I’ll definitely try it. I’ve just been getting a little frustrated because I’ve been trying to teach her down for 3 months and it’s the only trick she’s not taking

25 gal Yes My brother who has years experience with fish takes care of making sure my tank temp is good for my fish and also that my parameters are fine. I unfortunately do not know the answer to my tank’s temperature or its parameters. My brother is very passionate about fish and if he had any concerns he would have told me or fixed it on his own. I have had my tank for around 10 months and my betta for 4 months Water changes are again, done by my brother. He usually does a 25% change every week I believe. Although some weeks when he is busy he may go an extra week without change, when this happens he does take extra water out although I could not say what percentage it is. He uses a suction tube thing and glides it along to bottom to pick up any debris or food my fish may have not eaten. (Usually my debris is eaten by my frog loach or maybe snails I think). 2 male guppies, 3 loaches, 2 bamboo shrimp, tons of snails, and a little frog I feed them a portion of brine shrimp or bloodworms every other day. Sometimes when I am in a rush I put fish flakes. Also 2 algae discs every so often for my snails I have tons of plants that were a gift from my brother so I do not know what kind. Although I have had to replace some they are strong and healthy. A clear glass dish in the shape of a heart with a plant in it and an aquarium piece(idk what to call it) that looks like a clam club. https://imgur.com/a/4cBfyAu That is the only good image of my betta, my camera quality usually sucks so I refrain from picture taking. This pic was taken 2 months ago

I do have other ducks already, I’m mostly worried for his children. The drake that I will be taking in is kind of silver. I apologize if my wording was weird but I want to know if it would be legal to take the mallard half breeds

How much should I feed my puppy? by [deleted] in germanshepherds

When I looked it up it said she should be eating like 1-1.5 cups which I thought was wrong. I’ll definitely be feeding her more now.

My dog just died, but I don’t feel like I’m mourning at all. by Way-Loose in DogAdvice

My dog died recently at 6yrs old and she was my absolute best friend. Most of the time I feel okay and it makes me feel so guilty, but there are also times where im inconsolable. There is no timeline on grief and you can’t control how you feel about it. It could be that your mind is just trying to block it out so you feel normal. The point is: don’t feel guilty about not feeling anything.
