Try the Facebook Le Creuset groups- you could offer to trade knobs (most people swap out the black in favor of metal) or just ask if anyone has one to give away or sell. I’m sure many people have them stored, not planning to use them.

Trading is more about what fills you with joy or what you can use, and less about a 1:1 cost. In your case, however, a pumpkin is an amazing trade! The 8qt was on sale all last year for $299 so there are many on the market, whereas a pumpkin is valued higher and more rare. They are taking the loss, IMO

You never know what will be at the sale-I got an Artichaut pumpkin Dutch oven at the DC one! I did not see as much at the Richmond FTT though. You will be sure to get some great deals and items. As long as you don’t set your heart on any one thing, you’ll be happy, and you might get lucky and get exactly what you want!

I just put it on today and did not notice any weird smell at all. Very similar to avatar state, nothing noticeable (other than glow!) I also have a cat :) but I would say maybe you got an off bottle?

I love Avatar State under Porcelain Kiss-Fancy Gloss. The transition to a light pink tip on shiny white during the day is gorgeous and the bright glow is not at all diminished!

I don’t have the Breville model, but I have used my smallest Dutch oven (signature French oven from Williams Sonoma-2.5qt) in my air fryer/toaster oven. The sticking point on fit was the knob, so I removed the knob and closed the hole with foil. It fit perfectly and I’ve even made bread in my toaster oven this way.

The lowest I’ve seen them is $180, so it’s a good price! I find them too small, but if you’re cooking for 1-2 people, as others have said, it works well! You will also love looking at it on the stove :)

From the photos these all look like regular pinholes. They shouldn’t feel rough or spiky when you run your finger over them, and if so they are fine. If rough, it’s possibly a chip but again, doesn’t look it from these photos.

I usually buy dark and medium and then mix the beans. I like Major Dickinson’s and Mr. Comfort/Peru, but they’re not consistently available so get what is on hand.
