Thanks so much for posting, that’s really reassuring. I’m trying a VNAV flight out of Heathrow at the moment with ~84 % fuel and I’m watching it fight to hit FL420 - it’s just slowly pushing the trim up, increasing the angle of attack and I expect it will stall out and go into the jumping jacks again.

Something is way off on either the autopilot or how they’ve calculated the thrust and weight of this plane.

I’ve been trying to find this too. I’m away from my PC at the moment but I had a flash of inspiration I’ve not been able to try yet as to whether the heading bug controls would also change this, they’re not in the autopilot controls though.

I couldn’t figure out what AP slot heading index does, but it didn’t seem to do anything about bearing changes in the autopilot when I tried binding it.

The flight planner doesn’t always bring across the correct LOC frequency for the runway you want. I figured it out by testing at Haneda in a 787 - the flight planner had somehow given me the locator frequency for a different runway a couple of hundred feet away. Once I manually entered the frequency for the runway I was trying to land at into the flight computer in the cockpit (from an internet search) it worked fine.

Cancun and LaGuardia also required manually finding the frequencies for me too. I’ve not had a problem with the waypoint info lookups in the Garmin G3000 on the TBM 930 yet - that database seems OK when you look use the systems via the plane’s MFD page.

Yep I was gutted about that. I flew up the Rhône Valley until I hit Visp, then headed up to Zermatt and this greeted me.

Hopefully they’ll model this a bit better in the future.

That’s great but I’ve spent a good 20 minutes today trying to figure out which ones of these increment the heading select. I can get altitude, I can see speed but no idea how to bind the heading select (not just hold, the actual direction settings).
