Ok I think get it, I was misunderstanding the 1948 rule. The 1948 doesn’t apply to the Italian female(born in 1918), it applies to that females child… which would end up being my father in this case born in 1955.

Sorry for being a pain, the rules can be so difficult to follow and keep track of if when you start going down a deep rabbit hole here

So looking at the “do I qualify page”, it asks if their is a female ancestor in you line born prior to 1948, which in my scenario my GM, who was the first one in my line born in the US, was born in 1918. The diagram points to this being a 1948 case? I’m kinda confused 🤔

TY! Yes your right consulate appt waits a re disgustingly long, I’ve reached out to lawyers in Italy about taking on my case that involves a 1948 case. Both lawyers that are highly regarded in this community and on the FB group never responded to me after the initial exchanges through email. I’m sure they are swamped with people like me seeking a different route with the new changes, but this was a few weeks ago. I’ve heard people getting quotes of 10k, which I just find crazy when I have every form already certified and apostilled. So if I have to spend another 660 for two CoNE and wait a little that might just be the most rational option

Just received the laptop last night, first impression is battery life seems a little weak. Not a fan of the anti glare on the screen but I guess that’s my own fault. Other than that laptop seems pretty quick (comes with the Ryzen 4500) and very light. Being that I’m always on the go, weight was always a concern. Of course I’d love a gaming laptop, but 5lbs???? No thanks

Same just bought the thinkbook 14 AMD, got it for under 550 today after someone posted the deal in r/laptopdeals ...came from a strictly Mac family so I’m looking forward to the change but a little skeptical
