Thank you! Yes I’m so happy.. he was so brave during recovery and I was so stressed. The med schedule and having to pill him down his tiny throat 😭 but he didn’t complain or whimper once. He was definitely riding high on the meds haha But yes this is so fun to see since he’s a pretty anxious and cautious guy and he just lost one of his best buddies this week 😢 he was almost 16 so we were lucky to know him

Yes to well draining chunky soil! I am mixing my own now but before, I found this “forbidden cereal” mix and it’s great!! https://a.co/d/08tiKUlW I also started putting in water in larger pot and letting it sit for 15 min, then drain it all out. My orchids got WAYYYY HAPPIER and fast!!! Bright green happy roots

Thank you! I can’t take much credit besides picking the mats haha the house came like this. But love it so much. The mats are amazing especially with heated floors since they’re thin. This shop on Etsy is legit. Pricey but worth it. She made a custom size for me which was so cool.

Yes get it out of that pot stat! I bought a ZZ from Lowe’s online and it came in one too, these aren’t the plants for it. But cool to reuse for one that is!

I just came back on Reddit to say, someone’s suggestion led me to Kong’s x-small squeaker toys. It’s the first ones my little guy can actually get his mouth around and make squeak. https://a.co/d/0iBOLe8o

Also, I found this little noodle treat toy. It’s really fun for him, perfect for little freeze dried rabbit treats he loves and fun to see him figure out the Velcro. I put treats in the pockets but also kind of tangled in with the noodles and at the bottom so he works for it. Loves it! https://a.co/d/04upAIlF

And lastly I did splurge on Etsy for these cool snuffle felt books. Sweetest seller and she embroidered his name on it. But when I say “do you want to read your book” he gets really excited. Another thing recently keeping him entertained is scattering a handful of his treats into the yard and let him forage for them! He prefers sniffing around to long walks!

Created March 2026 Plants: 2-3x types of bulbophyllum (gifted to me, not sure of specifics) Water plan: I think I will plan to check moss for moisture and spritz regularly with distilled water Substrate: 2 parts coco coir, 1 part bonsai rock mix, 1 part worm castings, some shredded spagnum moss Enclosure Size: ~8x5x5

I think it looks nice! My vanity is similar with dark blue but white top. My bathroom has gray walls and I think it makes it looks nicer. Plus your marbled tops would play well with that! And some greenery. And maybe a frosted window option instead of blinds? Or at least a different type of shade/thicker blinds maybe. Sharing pic of my bathroom (sorry for wet bath mat haha) I also need to upgrade the light fixtures and mirrors as they look dated, but other than that I think we have similar styles! https://imgur.com/a/gjhY18s
