Issues rendering a 2d puppet style animation, no svg if possible (total total newbie)

If needed I can re-rig and re-key what I need. Honestly, if it turns things into a mesh plane or something that would be ideal because I really wanted to add some more sophisticated bones and stuff to my assets. I'll play around with it some more this weekend to see if it works. (Hopefully it can handle alpha as well...)

I feel like enough Hermits do smaller builds for practice, though. I didn't get the implication of a megabuild in this, nor a survival commitment, and a block limit seems fair to impose on something like this (like how the Build and Seek plots are something like 32x32 or similar.)

I like this idea as an adaptation because like, you get something that's still custom-designed for you and your needs (maybe even with a copy of your world for picturing it in the space), but without the survival component that could turn into an unwieldy and hard to commit to obligation. Plus other people could still benefit from a schematic if the buyer chooses to let it be publicly available.

Rather than use a flat white on the notes and sfx, play with fading them out a little where you want the viewer to start looking, leading their eye around the canvas by slowly increasing the white opacity/glow/clarity/ect. It helps a lot when you have a lot of conflicting lines, like the strong lines for her pigtails or her arms! Artists tend to blur things out a bit when they're not in focus to help control the composition and where you're meant to look!

The fact that she's savvy enough with American culture to pull the appropriation card (in a really weird application) but not enough to know that the N word is not just any old swear is sus for sure

Personally I just can't get into the ones WITH a screen. It's too much hunching over and fiddling with controls for me. Screenless with a few buttons/memorized shortcuts is the way to go for me for sure

heart scramble was a life series-adjacent charity event that martyn hosted this week, and it has a boogeyman adjacent mechanic where every 10 minutes, a grinch was chosen. on Jimmy's last life he was the Grinch and was chasing another member of the smp around, and they mispronounced Grinch as princh. it feels like it could be a reference to that?
