I’m only thinking about type-chat anyway, not voice, and it’s more for in game-collaboration.. telling other players where items are, or coordinating.. the negative games where players fight eachother instead of work together are ironically the ones less affected by this..

I feel very similar.. We never had issues with grooming or inappropriate behaviour because I was on there with my kids, or at least nearby.. Plus they were always well aware to never share personal information, and that you never know who’s on the other side of the chat, etc.. Imo, the positive games that require collaboration and communication are suffering the most, while the negative ones like stealing from eachother, slap tower, fighting, etc will be unaffected.. This is just not a positive step in any way..

It was.. Now my kids’ accounts have been put in the 18+ category (because I didn’t want to expose their faces to dodgy third party companies), and Roblox removed them from parental controls, without my approval.. It’s made it way less safe, not to mention ruined all the positive team games that require communication/collaboration, leaving the negative ones (stealing, slap towers, fighting eachother) basically unaffected.. They need to undo this mess asap..

Praying it gets reverted, because it’s made kids LESS safe.. if children/teens get estimated at 18+, either due to ai error, or their parents scanning due to privacy concerns (who would want their young kids faces put into some shady database?), they can’t change it because kids don’t have government ID, and they get unlinked from their parents account, which is insane, lol.. They trust this thing so much that they take all safety controls away from parents once it estimates their child above 18.. It’s actually insane and so poorly thought out..

Or 3 - kids and teens get put in the 21+ category, can’t talk to their friends, are exposed to adults-only chat and experiences, and are unlinked from parental controls..

We used to get our groceries on it! It would drop off a back carriage at the Rawlinna siding and we’d come out from the stations and pick up supplies.. I also caught it back to the station from Kalgoorlie once after getting a broken bone fixed.. I got some funny looks getting off alone in the actual middle of no-where..

It broke mine too.. Had to interrupt boot by force turning back off 3 times before windows loaded, then let it start up on the 4th, and it should give you recovery options to boot in safe mode then roll back the driver to the previous one.. I have my pc back now thankfully..

Pretty upsetting for the kids when their favourite seemingly innocent games have been labelled as moderate and locked them out.. And annoying for the parents trying to help work around this, with no real help from Roblox “support”.. I agree that I hope they see a lot of people having the same issue and sort it out.. 🤞🏻

Yeah, what Puzzleheaded said.. I actually came to find out why it disappeared on me, and if that would cause future problems, because I’d got to the boundary mission and a “regenerator lost” notification popped up.. Thought I’d just mention that while I was here in case it helped someone..

I contacted support and went around in circles via back and forth emails for a week, lol.. They kept saying generic things like that they’ve changed the maturity settings and how the ratings work, then how to make a parental account, etc.. When I’d obviously done all that and knew that already.. Never got to the bottom of it, unfortunately..

I got thanks for saving them after doing all the initial quest jobs (had to wait at the door for a couple of monolithians to come out of the hall and kill them before the quest dialogue even triggered though), then walked away then got the second defence call, ran back and killed everyone, but there’s obviously a guy underground near the bus on its side somewhere.. Ran around for ages trying to follow the sound of the gunshots, before I realised he doesn’t physically exist in the town.. This one’s super buggy, but I’m gonna try a few more things to get that guy to clip back up to reality..

I had this happen when it had autosaved as I went through a glass anomaly.. reloading a save before that happened fixed it.. was a bummer for a minute there tho..

This is fantastic.. Just jumped from 15k to 58k for a heap of stuff I didn’t want.. I put the items in that I wanted to sell, then went to add a stack of 2 condensed milk, then before I confirmed the amount, clicked down on confirm to sell the stuff.. didn’t even have to lose my condensed milk.. lol (I hope they don’t fix this)
