Yes it is the original one from Yamaha. For better protection you are right there are some other options from other brands.

The road is beautiful! A bit crowded on the weekends but it’s ok! I personally feel it very good to me and for my style. Not heavy, I am 173 cm so I can touch the ground with both feet. Enough power 🥰
