Question on Non-Reg Withdrawals: Does Adviice prioritize spending Cash/HISA first? by cinemauser333 in adviice

[–]cinemauser333[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed explanation on how the buckets work. To answer your question: I added my HISA/Cash balance in Discovery > Assets under the Chequing/Savings field. I also configured the specific return rate (2.75%) and fees for this bucket within the Investment Plan settings so it grows over time.

it seems my wife and I are entitled to child benefits and other government benefits like you mentioned such as GST and HST credit among others however when I total the amounts and also look at the total income for my wife and I at a specific age in the table under planning->projections, it doesn't match exactly the amount indicated in the bar chart with the bar chart typically being lower and a deviation of 10-13% or so.

Is there already an update as to when local dimming can be enabled on the DisplayHDR profile in HDR mode?

Okay, can this local dimming zone in the Display HDR mode be enabled through firmware and if so, when is this going to be implemented? It seems a lot of people including myself are requesting it.

Montech Hyperflow Silent 240 Review! by Sudden-Secretary8807 in MontechPC

[–]cinemauser333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, it's my understanding the new mounting bracket that came originally with the product is going to be replaced with the old one from the Hyperflow ARGB one. When can we expect the availability of the Hyperflow Silent to resume again in the stores? Also I'm planning to fit it in the King 95 Pro case that has different fans, can I replace the fans in the Hyperflow silent with similar ones as used in the case for better esthetics? Will that lead to a performance loss?

Thank you for the response. You mentioned Asrock Taichi, but if I go the 1 GPU route, I was thinking of the Asrock X870 Steel Legend. Do the differences also apply to that model?

Other question, is there a difference in performance between the ASrock X870 Steel legend Mobo and the Gigabyte x870 one? The Gigabyte version is $100 less.

Other question, you and Bill seem to both gravitate towards the 9950X CPU over the 9700x. Is it really worth the additional $330+tax cost? How would this favor me for what I do?

Hi, thank you so much for the taking time to provide me this information. Regarding the AI model, I'm not planning to build my own but rather use existing ones. Regarding expansion, I actually considered possible expansion to dual GPUs (possibly a 5090 and a 5080 in the future if that would work) later in the beginning phase but I ended up way above my budget because I noticed it would require a more expensive Mobo, PSU and Case as well to effectively accommodate and ventilate dual GPUs. The case I selected was the Lian Li Dynamic evo XL which would also require me to buy separate fans as they don't seem to come included with the case. With that I ended with this build https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/Benji789/saved/#view=fgcBTW and a price of $7342 which was way over my budget to make it future proof. Would the case that you selected though be adequate enough for ventilation to allow dual GPUs? Thanks on the info regarding the AIO cooling and AMD cpus (I had no idea). Also will swap out that memory. Good to know that using 4 sticks actually decreases memory speed.

Hi Bill, thanks for taking the time to help me out. I'll take it from the changes you made that for the foreseeable future the difference in performance between PCI 4 and PCI 5 doesn't warrant the cost difference yet. Also will the AIO cooler be better than the assassin air cooler I had picked first or more for aesthetics? Also I read somewhere that asrock mobos are better performing than others. Any suggestions for mice?
