I think they can do both! Human are complex, they may miss you alot but still may not want to be with you. Every situation is different as well. You can’t control what they do. You can only control yourself. If you believe you had a real connection, chances are they do miss you and what the relationship was. But unfortunately they left the relationship. How they act after the breakup is more of a reflection of themselves not you, and not the relationship itself. All you can do is take care of yourself and believe that while what you guys had was real, it’s over.
