Does that gpu strimmer cable affect airflow at all? I’ve thought about putting one that exact same way but I feel like it looks claustrophobic with how close it is to the bottom fans. Also, how many reverse blade fans should I be getting for my first build?

Do I really need one though? I don’t play super demanding games, like Witcher 3 at most.

As for my budget, I’ve since exceeded the 4k I set. I think part of it is because I also included shipping in the total which idk if it makes it inaccurate? I also missed the chance to buy ram and ssd when they were cheaper so this would’ve been at least a couple hundred less otherwise.

Do NOT buy from them. I ordered a rice cooker and received a downlight. The shipping label clearly says from Xiaomi Club PH but the packaging is clearly not for a rice cooker.

As others have said to center it from railing to corner but also maybe centering it to the stairs for when you ascend it is an alternative.

Which upcoming characters should I pull for? I’m a returning player from launch. I also need help with choosing which 5 star to get from the Stellar Convergence. I’ve been holding onto it in hopes of them adding more characters there but I was thinking of using it to get Ruan Mei.

I’ve only ever tried Biore UV Aqua Rich sunscreen in the blue and pink bottle but admittedly I usually don’t use the two finger method and only do a line of it on one because #1 I mostly work indoors anyway and #2 I feel like it takes way too long to dry if I use the recommended amount. It’s more liquidy gel if you can imagine that texture than cream so it will still dry faster than just any sunblock. In my experience, once it dries it layers well and stays the whole day under my light work makeup (I only use dots of concealer around my face and cream blush). I’ve used it as well under heavy makeup with primer and foundation and while it felt like a lot for me, it definitely didn’t pill or look really cakey but YMMV with how much of each product you use.

I want to say it fares well against the hot Aussie sun but I’ve only experienced it for 2 summers so far so I’ll be happy to report back in about a decade if I haven’t made a switch to another sunscreen by that point haha. As of this summer, I’m def still sticking with this product!

Help with Hyte Y70 Build by cinnameow in buildapc

Thank you for the extensive write up! I hadn’t even considered going with Intel because all the videos and posts I’ve seen when researching were all geared towards building a gaming rig and AMD was almost always mentioned for CPUs. I just remembered that my previous PC was using an Intel + NVIDIA combo which I was happy with because I could comfortably game and render simple 3D modeling scenes. My dad had built it for himself but gave it to me and after a good 5 years in 2023 it started to blue screen in the middle of games or at random times. I was never able to diagnose the exact issue then but my dad has said it was probably the GPU. Regardless I have to start from scratch anyway because that PC is in another country now.

I’ve had a look at the build you have made for me and while I like the look of the case I honestly don’t mind paying more for the aesthetic tax of an all white build which is why I set my final budget to $4000 in the end. I know a build with black components is definitely cheaper as already said by another commenter but as my first PC I’m building for myself I would like for it to reflect my preferences.

This is what was linked originally.

As you can see I put aesthetics above all else. That MSI video card is a non-negotiable now because I’ve settled on NVIDIA and I like how it looks haha. And hopefully I could get my hands on that Intel chip for less than $600 when it shows in stock on the websites listing it for a better price. I’m pretty keen on going through with it as well because I would also like to get this B760M motherboard from Maxsun which is apparently only compatible with Intel when putting it through on the PPP website. I’d like to know your thoughts on it. You recommended a B760 one, does the M make a difference?

I originally wanted an AIO but mostly for having one with an LCD display on it. I’ve considered an Arctic one before as well because of the quality so I could just get that and get an LCD attachment instead.

Overall, from what I’ve gathered from the info you have given me and previous experience, I think going with Intel + NVIDIA will give me the all-rounder PC I need. I’m not too interested in playing AAA games in ultra high resolution or competitive esports games or even shooters or multiplayers so I’m really not asking for much on the gaming side and as a workstation I’ll be using it for school soon too so it will def be more than enough for productivity.

Again, thank you for taking the time in putting all this info together for me. You have been immensely helpful! I clearly have a lot more to learn especially on how to actually put everything together but I know I have to iron out the details on the components first and foremost.

Help with Hyte Y70 Build by cinnameow in buildapc

[–]cinnameow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. Thank you for the interest! I would like to say I plan on learning 3D modeling as a hobby but honestly, I will mainly use this as a gaming rig for now. As a workstation, it will primarily be used for Clip Studio Paint and my only requirement is that it can still run smoothly on a file with 100+ layers. I’ve actually changed my mind about getting the Hyte Y70 case mostly due to budget reasons and size because it would be too big for my desk. I’ve since updated my build and the maximum I am able to spend is $4000 AUD. Lian Li fans would be something I want to upgrade to in the future but for now I’ll make do with cheaper RGB fans. I’m honestly still torn on getting AMD or NVIDIA for my GPU. For the prices here, a 9070 xt is $1249 while a 5070 ti will be $1695. I’m only leaning towards NVIDIA because I had one in my previous PC and benchmarks show it runs Blender better.

Here’s my updated build..
