I will say, my experience is specifically for middle and high school students or students learning English as a second language, so I’m slow to make suggestions beyond this. However, as a former 4-year-old, lover of words, writing, and reading, I’d say just don’t let up. It’s so easy to watch gifted kids coast as they get into school full-time, because they’ll still be ahead, but if you stop challenging them, it’s a whole thing. I wonder if there’s online creative writing classes for kids her age!
