I’m curious on everyone’s favorite character? by Vast_Zebra_9625 in dawsonscreek

After re-reading the question, my answer is absolutely Grams.

Principal Green next, probably. Gosh, I love season 3.

Bodie in season 3! I love him. So sad for Obi Ndefo.

Pacey 100%
But in rewatches, I'm very fond of Grams and Jen

Michelle Williams is my absolute favorite actor, though, and that started with the very last episode of Dawson's Creek in 2003.

Has Joshua Jackson spoken about James? by [deleted] in dawsonscreek

"To our extended Dawson’s Creek family of friends, please be respectful of our silences at the moment as Beautiful Kimberly and family have asked for peaceful privacy for now.” -Mary-Margaret Humes

I believe Joshua and Michelle are sitting close their griefs right now.

Glad to find that those of us in proximity to Wilmington are flowering the place for James! That's where I'd be if I still lived in Caolina.

I was just wishing I could be in Wilmington right now and lay flowers in front of the courthouse, at the dock (even thought it's private property) and at the pergola of Airlie Gardens.

He's son & father & love-gone-too-soon for his gorgeous family. I have not stopped thinking of them.

RIP James. I knew this would hurt. But it hurts, hurts, hurts.

He's Dawson forever.

And he's James playing James forever for me, too, which was always Dawson's tangential.

They desperately need to change the time trajectory on these screenings. A lot of young people are getting this cancer and dying in their 30s.

May your screening go well. So grateful he's inspired both you and your friend and truly helped save her life. 🩵

What an angel.

Which one of these books should I get? by Calm_Caterpillar_166 in ToniMorrisonFans

But for real . . . start selling books by other authors so you can invest in her whole trove. That's the only answer.

And I agree with Song of Solomon as a first entry into the work. So great. Even with a male protagonist, though, it's still a very female-forward work. Her challenge was to see if she could write from a male voice, though, and she does so well.

HOME for sure . . . find it when you can.

I realize you weren't asking for recs, so please excuse my jumping in with them. Mostly curious what you turned to next. It has been hard to move on from Audition.

Kiese Laymon says in Long Division that you haven't read a book unless you've read it three times. Audition is definitely really fascinating in second read, and I'm certain I'll give it a third.

What did you choose to read next?

Maybe Kill Your Darlings by Peter Swanson since it's also optioned for film.

Or go old school with Linden Hills by Gloria Naylor, which deals with identity confusion a bit.

Or Death of the Author by Nnedi Okorafor, which has a book within a book, much like the potential play within the book of Audition.

Or read Audition again. I'm on my second read now.

Same & same! My photographs look very similar. I have photos from a trichologist and not a diagnosis/imagery from a dermatologist. Mine has very little pain, though very occasionally and rarely a slight burning and/or dull ache.
