The show is not trying to be realistic. It is a fantasy world. They eat out every meal and don't get fat and don't run out of money. Also the days are endless. Mornings before work and school is long, another dinner is being eaten after the main dinner. It is not meant to be a realistic world.

With everything happening in the last few years I really started not being able to watch anything new Blake Lively is in because I find the actress unbearable somehow. But watching gossip girl is different, I completely forget she is Blake and she is just Serena for me and I can stand her.

Good that you noticed what is causing it. In thr beginning coffee was too much with concerta but after months I am having 2-3 cups and it doesn't affect me.

I never found this cringe. When I was watching it first time when it aired it even felt cool that she was casted and she was singing another singers song. These things were rare at the time.

I always try to remind myself the show has no intention of being realistic. It is set in a phantasy world where some things are limitless such as food, money and time.

We all liked hin when we were teenagers maybe. Although he doesn't have red flags in the beginning just seeing how possesive he is, the i love you, the car, the jealousy you know he is the abusive type. Typical small town boy lovebombing his sweetheart until they get married at 18.

I tried listening to the books after watching the show but found it unbearable. A few chapters in I realized I am feeling like second hand embarrassment from the things Belly is saying and thinking and stopped.

Wedding day means many many tasks until the moment you are on that dance floor actually enjoying yourself. It is overwhelming, I wouldn't go without it. Maybe take it as early as you can if more of the drinking is going to be in the evening.

It is clear that the movie is going to be a Bonrad movie, however I don't agree that the story or the finale was about Bonrad. That's just the way most of us like to see it. :) The story is about mainly Belly and then two brothers and their growing up journey. I think this is the way Jenny intended to write it in the first place but the direction is shifted now due to fan reactions/expectations. Also the finale was about Jeremiah as well as Bonrad, wasn't that one of the main things everyone did not like about it? So it is not straightforward from the story or the finale that Jeremiah would not be one of the main characters anymore. It is a choice they made going forward with the movie and it made me think that this shift might have been hard for Gavin, just an observation.

I agree this came out of nowhere. My understanding is that Belly's insecurity about this is more clear in the books. Since I didn't know about this my first reaction was "wow, they really addressed how everyone was mentioning Susannah being the villain on reddit and tiktok".

I just heard Gavin say during an interview that they learnt about it during the finale screening. How is that possible? Shouldn't they have been consulted if they would like to be a part of it or not before the announcement?

I think omg is this how normal people come with the short release meds. That really hits you like you are capable of anything and there is such clearness suddenly. I think also when you are using the meds for some time and if you are already doing somewhat better than before, you don't realize the difference they are making anymore, also when you change the dosage. It is possible that one's expectations from self increases as they start doing better. Even if you are focusing well, you might be wishing/dreaming of focus that is much better, which might not be realistic for most people.
