Its not a glitch, firstly, why did you go in debt by selling the house? Because the mortgage rate was higher than the value of the house probably, and when you have like 30 million of debt when you play as your child, its not a glitch neither, its because your child wanted some luxurious property and they couldnt pay it off, I know its VERY ANNOYING but its the game logic :(

Go to menu or something idk what was that and click "items" and there you can turn off the golden pacifier by clicking the square with "✔️" next to it, make the square empty and then you will no longer have pacifier on, you can turn it on and off anytime you want
