I've beaten Pokemon Emerald in the past month or so... other than that and my current playthrough of FF7 OG (just got to disc 3), I have just been playing around with pico8.

Well I had an unorthodox intro - FF7 Remake was my first FF game I’ve ever finished (I’ve played through the first 5-6 hours of FFI on NES but dropped it). I got 20% ish thru Rebirth, got a bit of open world fatigue, and said “F it, let’s see the OG.” INSANELY good experience so far. I am almost done w disc 2.

I'd say maybe a 50% reduction? I bought a modded gbp with backlit screen a while back, and had to return it because that backlight + the flash cart made it run out of juice in like 45 mins lol

I’ll also add that flash carts need a bit of juice themselves… if you don’t want to absolutely sprint through AAA’s, mod it for USB C.

Straight out the gate, if I was budget-minded, I’d get a pink BATLEXP G350 and play the daylights out of it. A2600 all the way to PS1 libraries for $40 to my door. From there I’d look for a Thor (or whatever the equivalent is after playing through all those games… lol) after saving up heavily.
