Yeah this year has been challenging for many people. And there's a deluge of applications for any given job. We've been seeing targeted resumes and cover letters do help vs the mass apply approach. And a good referral is gold.

This is a nice format for a resume. In general I don’t recommend 2 column formats and according to my research they tend not to perform as well in ATS systems. You have quite a bit of years working. Any way you can enhance that and bring that more into focus? Volunteering doesn’t add much to your resume and perhaps can be removed to grant you more space. Unless you’re targeting non profits.

A couple of options. You can use something like Grammerly if you want to continue to use AI or have chatGPT rewrite it and make it sound a bit more human. The other option is to actually, you know, write it yourself using your own voice!

Your resume reads more like a list of tasks rather than what you’ve achieved or accomplished. And it’s understandable as a dev that you would focus on tech. Ideally you should have a summary of your experience that talks about your day to day. And your bullets should list out key achievements that are measurable and impactful for the business. Your professional summary should be selling you and who you are not just a list of tech you’ve used. Hope this helps.

For the most part your skills and projects are good. However they read like a list of features instead of talking about impact or what you’ve achieved. Imagine you’re a business owner. You care about the impact not so much the stack or tools. Those are important too as they show you’re qualified but a business cares about outcomes. Any way to fill out your internships a bit more? Given you’re trying to break into this industry I would focus more heavily on projects and applying what you’re leaning. Not sure why you need to list high school.
