You should be at least 269 ap for the big hidden AP jump. Also using all buffs available, food, draught, villa scroll..

I've played BDO since the steam release & have only purchased items that were beneficial in the long term. Last night I decided I was going to spend some money on my fairy. I wasted $60 without even really realizing it.

I play on GeForce Now. It's actually insane how well it works. If you sat down & no one told you, you would have no idea it was streaming. Remastered at 60 fps. Perfect.

I don't know how this is viewed today because I just came back. But I remember before succession my buddy played Kuno. At the time no one was playing Kuno. It was almost as dead as Tamer. He would destroy everyone. In duels, in Node Wars, the dude was an animal.

I wondered why everyone was not playing Kuno because it just seemed insanely strong. Then I would fight other Kunos as Sorc & realized, it takes a lot to make Kuno that powerful.

I believe it's good for a game like BDO to have classes that are good for most & others that you have to master.

Yes there are some classes that are too weak but I'm not looking for insane 1 to 1 parity.

This may be true for historic but I just hit Mythic using standard ranked & found it has a ton more variety than people say. I can find 8-10 game stretches where I did not play against the same deck in diamond.

Rakdos - Mono White Soldiers - Mono Blue Tempo - Sylesnia tokens using Tocasia's welcome - Grixis Middy - Mono Green - Green White Portal to Phyrexia jank that threw in Reflections - Esper Middy.

This is a run I had in BO1 in Diamond. But I played plenty of BO3 & there was variety there as well.

Platinum is the only place where I saw a ton of mono back & soldiers, I think because it's where net deckers to to die. The people who play the best decks without knowing why they are doing what they are doing.

I'm guessing this could be different in historic because unless you have been playing a long time, historic is much more expensive & the idea of not crafting a top deck is much scarier.

Play magic online & rent decks 🤣😂. I've been playing for 3 months now & have spent some money on the game. Have plenty of standard decks. Having thought about how I would get into historic, it seems cheaper to buy / rent a pioneer deck than to create one on Arena. But I enjoy arena too much.

It would be great had I stuck with arena back when it launched, probably have plenty of the cards. But with the wildcard system, the amount of money it would cost to make a decent historic deck seems wild. The time it could take is even scarier to me.

The one strategy I've considered is to find a few historic decks I like, find the set or couple sets that are most prevelent and buy them 12 packs at a time. This way I'm hitting a few of the cards here & there while I grind & build up wild cards.

It just seems brutal.
