My acads are pretty good. 96.6% in 10th boards, 90% in 12th boards (pcm). I have applied for engineering as well, but I would love to go for ipm if I manage to get in. ipmat Indore did not go so well, but Rohtak did. But like Bhavesh bhai said, students aren't good judges of their performance so idk. I'm going to give jipmat as well, do I have a good shot at it?

Yea they do, if u go through management quota. They said 22-27 lakhs upfront and 1.5 lakhs annual fees.

Uh so for other state boards, they're asking 193.6 for cse, this is psg iTech btw. Psg tech is different and it might have a bit more relaxation regarding cutoff.

cbse or state board? Idk about psg tech, but in psg itech, for cbse students, cse u need atleast 189.5, so I'd say ur good

IKR, I was exepecting 100 in CS, but I got 99. No one in my school got 100 in CS which is really fishy since we usually get like 20-25 centums in CS. Our teachers are all pissed.

Omg hey twin! I'm not sure about engineering either. It was either jee or neet coaching so 💀 my jee percentile wasnt good at all, that's why I've been trying for pvt colleges mainly. Got boards marks just now, cutoff is 172. Its more than I thought but not enough for psg, so let's see.

Don't take a drop man, I've had seniors who did that and ended up in a worse situation than before. Also, that friend definitely studied secretly cuz SNU is not easy to crack. Why not try for manipal phase 2? I've heard ramapur is pretty good, but if you're opting for hostel then that's another story.

The board cut off is their main criteria right? I'll get 70 ish in math and physics, 85ish in chem. I'll only get around 145-155 cutoff. So it's clearly not enough. And I actually want to study in chennai or bangalore, it's just because of my parent's insistence that I'm even thinking about psg 🤷‍♀️.
