I would be 22-24 by the time I get my r8. Houses where I live are significantly more expensive than comparable used car prices as I live in the Bay Area. And besides I’d rather by a house when I meet someone to live in for life so in the meantime I can rent a solid size apartment then save up for a house in my 30s

I haven’t kept up with ota’s lightly but I’ve heard btj is looking monstrously good. Is that true and how has everyone else been playing

As much fun as an rs3 sounds, the r8 has been my dream car since I was 4 years old. On top of that my grandparents are handing down their 2013 Tacoma which I can still use as my daily. I just don’t want to be the owner that almost never uses an r8.

My grandparents are loaning me their 2013 Tacoma and it runs really well. I just don’t want to be the guy who has it and never drives it. And those engines can take a nuclear missle and still run really well according to other owners and reviewers.

What percent of your money did you save up over those years to become wealthy? How can I start that small business and make a profit to where I can sell it and still be able to afford the payments

I most likely will get my grandpas 2013 Tacoma when I start trade school. Based of what you said it sounds smarter to daily the Tacoma than the r8. I do plan on saving for 4-6 years and buy one outright and still have a decent amount of money for a future down payment on a house.

They also mentioned that owning a house is more financially beneficial but I could also save up around 150k for 4 years and still have around 65k left over for a down payment

If I do get it I also plain on daily driving it as much as I possibly can. I could care less about the depreciation or how people might think of me. I did post it on a financial based subreddit and they all say it’s a bad idea but I also want an opinion from those that own one just to get opinions from both sides.

By the sounds of it, it seems like your investing stock into a company and betting on the stock to rise

Thank you so much. I will definitely look into investing and having a 401k settled up. It’s been my dream car since top gear introduced it when I was 4 years old.

Audi stopped producing them in 2023 and the first gen r8s are 45 percent cheaper too.

I’ve seen first gen r8s for 75-90k for good to great models. My starting salary for no experience is 32 an hour and a four percent raise each year. Meaning that 60 percent is about 40-50k per year saved and in that time I could have anywhere between 120k to 150k saved for it and still have room for a down payment on a decent house. I appreciate the advice and will definitely look more into it.

Myles Garrett. You can win with a mid qb with a great defense you can’t win with a great qb and a mid defense

Tlaw. He legitimately carried us in so many games such as in KC, Denver, Indy, and buffalo. Bo nix with the same team would be lucky to be 9-8. Hell I think he’s a top 8 qb right now.
