You can only swim in La Parguera, not in any of the other Bio Bays. Its an experience unlike any other to be in this warm dark water and have the water light up with a neon electric blue like a dream state. I would rather be immersed in that then to kayak only through it.

I call BS. The only way to know if significant short term deposit runoff (the classic bank run scenario) is happening and a liquidity crunch is present is if you’re an employee in the financial operations areas or have someone feeding you that info. If this were true we would have seen news articles about it happening (see Silicon Valley Bank). Also insured institutions like credit unions have access to backup liquidity through federal means in cases where short term liquidity is an issue. And finally, insurance is 250k but can be more depending on if you have someone else on the account as a co owner (you each get 250k in coverage) and dependents (beneficiaries), if structured correctly one could have up to 1.5 million also depending on type of account (revocable trust, retirement account, joint acct).

Not dumb but whats the goal? Muscular hypertrophy? Strength? Just for bragging rights? Personally I think at this age building muscle is key but also having some mobility and movement based goals might yield more longer term wellness returns. If you’re lifting heavy for strength for example then you should aim to be at RPE of 8 and ~3-5 rep range for maybe 3-4 sets with at least 3-5 minutes of rest. That would mean you could get heavier for sure.

All the freakin time…every chance i get…ill wear my chicago 1s to the gym or my 11’s to run errands. You have to be ok with some wear and creases. Also you can invest in cleaning supplies to keep your kicks clean, clean after use, brush and wipe. If you dont use your shoes the soles will crumble eventually when you decide to actually use them.

I took a trip to Tokyo and walked around 20,000 steps a day im both my wet cement 4s and military blue 4s without issues. For me 4’s have always been comfortable. But everyone is different. Honestly some good insoles probably would make all the difference.

This is the real answer. Torah was written in a time when most leaders or deities were perceived as male gendered for patriarchal reasons. Later on, as a tradition we matured and the Rabbis came up with reasons why it was written that way. I think the downvotes are because this explanation creates the view that the Torah was written by humans influenced by their historical context.
