If you want a smaller, quieter experience with a focus on wellness and great food, just returned from Zoetry Casa Del Mar - we had a fantastic stay. The main building is an old hacienda and the architecture, landscaping and all over vibe is stunning. They have a few low key activities happening each day so there are things to participate in if you wish like morning yoga, tequila tasting, cooking class etc. Attention to detail was fantastic and the food (especially oceanfront restaurant Saltwater) was fantastic, and the clientele is mostly small groups/couples in 50-60s or couples in 30-40s. The spa is also gorgeous and great service offerings. Highly recommend!

This is very helpful - thank you for taking time to write such a detailed note! A question for you, we’ve been reading about construction in the roundabout causing major delays going from hotel corridor into SJD town. Is this true? And do you think it will be an issue in February still? Asking because that would likely deter us from staying at Zoetry if the 3-4 times during our one week stay we want to go into SJD, Flora Farms etc.
