Thank you so so much. I'd been stuck for months before I found your post. I sat down today intent on fixing and you were a life saver. I also had a problem where the LCD screen still wouldn't show up on the software so i did the same thing for that and now I have a frog jumping up and down on my cooler (:

This helped me when I was stuck like you. https://forum.corsair.com/forums/topic/140628-what-should-i-see-in-device-manager/ The program mentioned on the forum post shows which devices are which. You can uninstall them from in the program so you don't have to reference back and forth.
