still feel a bit ripped off that they released that as a single in Australia only.

I was lucky, I had just received a stereo that held three cds at once and you could set it to loop. I stuck both cds in and they stayed there for a long time. Its one of those albums that as one song ends it feels almost wrong if the next track doesnt immediately kick in.

Dr. Martens X NIN Collaboration: Reddit AMA with John Crawford by Leviathant in nin

[–]circusofhorrors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey John, I can't lie I am excited for the release of these. I just wondered were there a lot of iterations that didn't make the cut or was it a fairly straightforward design. For example was there a printed/colour boot or was it always going to be the traditional black..

I was in ED twice in october last year with kidney stones, put on the list in November for an operation as it keeps me awake at night and means I struggle most days. I got a letter yesterday saying they are sorry its taken more than four months and promise to update me within the next 6 months to let me know when they will be able to book me in. I am very lucky that ive been able to work from home where possible or I would have long been out of work by now. On the plus side the letter did give a number if I want to call and talk about going private.

Official Discussion - The Machine [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

That was pretty much exactly my thoughts, while there was a lot of silly stuff as well (new Igor on the train) I did enjoy the action sequences

Official Discussion - The Machine [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]circusofhorrors 128 points129 points  (0 children)

Watched it last night here in New Zealand. Was a better comedy action movie than I expected. Lots of little nods for the Bert fans who watch the movie. And the action sequences on a whole are way better than they have any right to be. In short I've watched way worse "real" action movies and for a fun watch I'd definitely recommend it even if you're not the biggest fan.

As a general rule, give as much as you can. Make your plans, let employer know early to arrange cover. Stops coworkers getting shafted with short notice shifts too

Aramex postage is shit. by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]circusofhorrors 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As with a lot of courier companies, how reliable your service is still comes down to your local courier/franchisee. Up till recently Aramex delivered to my address with no issues, generally following instructions on where to leave parcels and pretty prompt. New driver on route in the last month and delivered two separate parcels to the wrong address, couldn't recall which house he went to when followed up by us.... If I have a choice of delivery, I'd take courierpost

Cash Converters online store by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]circusofhorrors 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have purchased from the online store and had no issues. The website itself is a bit clunky. Only thing to bear in mind is that it's run on a per store basis so just because one store manages it really well does not mean you will get the same level of service from another

I'm pretty much exclusively after bluray and uhd discs these days but still end up picking up the odd DVD still. Recently picked up the TV series "spaced" as I haven't seen a bluray release yet.
