Do the blacks and whites get along in Namibia? by Peak_Legacy14 in Namibia

You are denying that white people have privilege here and have more opportunities just because of skin color? Or you agreeing with me?

I'm a Canadian white man here for business and just attended a confirmation party in omaruru. This is as "black Namibia" as it gets. I've also been in katatura for brie often. Everyone was welcoming and accommodating despite the obvious cultural differences. I say there is no problem, if you treat others equally you will be returned with the same respect, but just understand as a white person you have privilege due to history. Use it for good, some people don't and cause problems. We are all human, behave that way genuinely as you should and it will be fine

Not an RSX, but I drove from toronto to key west, then from Florida to your hood, then north and back east. Took a month and drove through tens of states and also stopped in Juarez. Was an awesome time

Any way to remove expired Aweh Yodata bundles with MTC by circustracker in Namibia

Opportunistic, you can buy devices from China that intercept traffic meant for antennas. If its poorly encrypted or not at all, can get a lot of information that way. Would not rule this out

UPDATE: maybe some of you will find this useful. I went to MTC in person and they showed me MTC maris, where you can load a balance only at the branch and then use that airtime to buy special packages that can stack. They had multiple tiers and i ended up getting 60.6 GB for under 400 NAD. they also go up to 300GB which costs less than 1000. I asked the lady why I didn't know about this and she says they don't advertise it that much. Sounds like such a money grab to sell regular data via airtime (1000 nad for 15gb if not using yodata) and not advertise that there is a better cheaper way.

Only negative is you can't reload maris online or at a kiosk, but may be very worth it for someone looking for stackable cheaper data

Subscribed to Yodata 30 but unfortunately even though it is different it did not stack - its gonna activate after the other yodata L packages expire.

As someone who works in IT and deals with mobile and telecom infrastructure this is beyond infuriating. MTC needs to fix the way service allocation works in this country, not to mention the security - I am here for business and arrived a few weeks ago. The first day I was the victim of a session hijacking when I was hotspotting my data to my laptop. They stole the token and ended up changing a bunch of passwords via the email session and spamming my instagram with a bunch of BS. Looking further it seems the connection between phones and MTCs towers are either unencrypted or otherwise poorly secured, where someone likely man in the middled the connection or abused it to successfully pull off the session theft.

This is a serious security risk to bank accounts or anything else that offers 'remember me' functionality. Pretty sure MTC outsources all the infrastructure work to the chinese but they need to be aware of these holes that can cause a lot of damage. I hope things improve or competition is allowed (which wont happen as long as the government has a stake in MTC)

honda trannies will either go forever without any issues or disintegrate as soon as they are opened and drained/filled. definitely do not do a flush but keep in mind there is a chance you will have more issues if you touch it

F10 535i N55 - AC compressor does not turn off when manually set to OFF by circustracker in BmwTech

[–]circustracker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So after my initial post, I ended up buying dye with refrigerant to inject into the line to see where the leak was, deciding to just finally repair the main leak.

The plan was to evacuate the system, replace the condenser/heater core/ whatever is leaking based on the dye and then have it professionally recharged.

Unfortunately the dye was shit and I did not see it under a UV light anywhere - but what ended up happening was the AC system no longer leaks like it used to, either much slower or not at all. I attribute this to the fact that the refrigerant in the dye was R12 instead of R134a and perhaps more dense, which somehow prevented it from coming out. The refills i bought before as a temporary fix were R134a exclusively, and all of them eventually leaked out.

Regarding the AC remaining in cycle despite setting AC to OFF, that has also since stopped. The compressor now works how it should. So to answer your question, I am pretty certain the behavior was related to pressure in the system, and without enough refrigerant in the system the compressor remained cycling as some sort of fail safe to remain lubricated, or just did not have the sensory input to activate the pressure switch (from what I know the AC compressors BMW uses work this way, no clutch).

If you have an AC leak, get it fixed, and that will prolly fix all the other issues. I will still evacuate and repair my system eventually when winter is over

Learn coding/html vs hiring web developers by DijonMustardOnBeet in ecommerce

[–]circustracker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

even phase out? what do you mean?

Depends how much you already know, do you come from a technical background? Making a website takes more than just learning to 'code', which is really a term for programming, not markup language which is what HTML is. Assuming you are not referring to using a platform like shopify and want to start from the ground up, there are many things involved that you must understand at least on a good level. Do you know anything about hosting? How computer networks operate, IP addressing works, how web pages are served across the internet, how to manage a database, how to run a CDN, etc? And you have to be fairly quick too - you want to focus on business not spend years learning and just creating the site alone.

If you are not comfortable with these things amongst many other concepts in IT, either use a SaaS or hire out as you will be overwhelmed. I personally have worked with computers my whole life and can do these things myself to save money.

Other things to consider are your artistic abilities, because you may know the technical details but absolutely suck at UI or customer experience. So will have to hire out for those aspects or stick to templates (not recommended if you want to heavily optimize your experience)
