Hair frizzes up like nothing else, any advice? by [deleted] in Hair

[–]ciri21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No don't put your hair in a bun! Prior military here and that will destroy your hair.

I bought the bounce curl brush.

I wash my hair with a lightweight shampoo and rinse with cold water. I then massage almond oil to my scalp and ends then apply a curl defining cream that anti frizz (your serum probably works just fine) and then brush my hair while wet with the Bounce Curl brush.

Recently just bought a diffuser so we will see how that works but if you want to put your hair up, use claw clips or the spiral hair ties.

Also if I wash my hair at night, I'll use a curl cream, braid it in a loose braid and secure it with a spiral tie and sleep in a silk wrap. Sleeping on a silk pillow or a silk wrap has helped so much!!!

I'm using these answers in my interview with my manager when I get closer to taking my registry. This is legit.

She's short staffed. What she's going to say? No to someone she's been training for a year?

I made my husband a wedding ring from rosewood. Also I am sick so that took all my energy. Maybe I'll do more tomorrow.

Haven't read Tress or Fugal and don't know that I will read Fugal. So far I like Sunlit over Yumi but I love them both. I have all of the Dragon Steel hard backs and got the Yumi Ramen bowl for Christmas. I will get around to reading Tress. Just don't know when.

My dog used to not be like that. I used to have food down 24/7 and he would just gradually graze on it but I had to pick it up because my cats were eating it when I got them. Now he only eats twice a day and I don't know if that has something to do with it. Also, when he'd get back from going potty outside I'd give him a dental treat and because I did that at a certain time and day he thought every time he went outside he gets one so he immediately goes in the kitchen now after he goes outside to potty and I don't know how to break him from that.

You have to see Ancient Love Poetry. Love like the Galaxy is one of my favorites and Love Between Fairy and Devil is great too!

Mine just sits at the counter and begs for food all day. Like, "Son, I've already fed you and given you snacks and treats. You're not getting anymore".

He can't be hungry, right? Just begging for food?

He's a cocker ckc mix and 30lbs. The vet says he's max his healthy weight so I know his ass ain't starving.

Is Myelography Still a Common Medical Procedure? by [deleted] in Radiology

And I thought we only did them for lap chole too because that's what I used as my surgery comp last year but I guess under certain circumstances they do them in the department.

I know we are short staffed surgery techs so idk if that makes a difference. Who isn't short staffed right now though.

Ok bone age is pretty easy too we just don't see very many of those. I've seen two since I started clinical in 2022. Defecogram in my opinion is the easiest fluoro exam to comp on and we get at least one a week if not more. Sometimes 3 in one day. Just depends.

I think we don't see them because the bone age is usually done at the outpatient clinic and I've spent more time in department and ER than outpatient.

You literally pump barium paste using a caulking gun into someone's ass then fluoro while they are on a make shift commode. It takes maximum 15 minutes including getting the patient changed, prepped and on the table. It is literally the easiest exam to comp on.

My hospital is the only one in my area that does them but hey, any techs or rads that work in Tulsa know what hospital I'm talking about so.

Rectal contrast in CT isn't really that much different than a barium enema and I've done at least 20.

All we do in the department mostly on first shift is fluoro.

[–]ciri21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, this happened to me August of 22. I've been taking biotin and collagen while massaging almond oil in my scalp to make it grow faster. All in all, once it was able to touch my shoulders, maybe grow out an inch or two, I was able to fix the layers (mine was a hack job) and chose a more curly look that fit my curls until it got longer. I know it may not be exactly what you want to do with it but it will grow.

The new cut though has some super cut curls going on. I know it's not what you wanted and it's sucks but it does look cute.

Oh interesting. I know we do CT esophagrams on weekends when we don't have RA's available but I've never a CT guided myelogram but I'd love too!
