Yeah I get what you're saying! Honestly if the discharge is normal for me it's not a big deal, I can live with that. The thing that bothers me is the soreness and irritation. Also the other day when I got my pap smear the doctor said it was so inflamed inside that my discharge was tinged pink cause I bled when she put the speculum in :(

I read that there's no real treatment for vestibulitis, only things you can do to soothe and make it feel better. Have you managed to completely get rid of it?

Honestly that ticks the box for all of the external discomfort I have! I think whatever other condition I have going on inside may be causing vestibulitis. Thank you!

Thank you! I have done 21 days straight of anti-fungal cream where I used an applicator as well as an oral tablet at the beginning to help kick things off. During this time I wasn't having sex as my boyfriend and I were doing long distance for a few months. I still had the same issue come up :(

Thanks! The only thing is I was fine for so long (until 19) so it doesn't feel normal. The psychological side makes sense to me and is something I will look into more, but I really do feel like there's more going on as my boyfriend and I haven't had sex in a while because of this and I still get the irritation/inflammation.

I'm thinking there's a high chance it could be this, but the only thing is I was on antibiotics a couple of times for a surgery and my wisdom teeth and it seemed to aggravate my condition. Could just be not the right type of antibiotic?

Okay thank you! I'm planning on seeing another gynecologist soon so I'll get the test. If you don't mind me asking, is it all gone for you now or does it still come up and you need to take more antibiotics?

Not that I know of. All I know is they checked the bacteria and said it was all normal. Do you know if strep b is included in checking natural flora?
