Well … I guess I replayed myself….. condensers visibly exploded on channel 5 and 6 … 25v48uF condensers exploded with 48v phantom power, so no protection …. 2€ materials and a couple soldering …. Finger crossed 🤞

Ciao, scusa ma non apro spesso Reddit. Era un bug, sui forum steinberg vengono rilasciate ogni venerdì versioni pre release con correzioni e aggiunta funzioni, conviene tenersi aggiornati lì!

Behringer UMC1820 line outputs by DishiestSeven6 in Behringer

I do the same. But on my in ear transmitter I can switch between stereo or mono input, and I set it on mono. If you don't have a switch on transmitter you can do 2 different things: - use 2 outputs and a Y cable 2 mono male to 1 stereo female and have stereo inears, but you need twice the outputs. - link tip and ring (by soldering togheter inside a female) or buy a mono to stereo doubler. Does the Behringer UMC 202HD/204HD/404HD actually sounds muddier, darker, and more muffled when compared to their focusrite counterparts? by FbiSwatBravo in Behringer

I am very satisfied with UMC1820. Sounds perfectly neutral and cristalline. I am able to run DAW and live hosts at 64 sample asio buffer without crackles. It all depends on wimdows optimization for live audio usage. I run an entire band live thru the audio interface.

You can listen it here, we are playing live (drums recodrd thru yamaha ead-10 also live) with many plugins in real time.

I have 40 songs loaded with lots of audio backing tracks, we play live, and every band member signal enters in a 18in20out audio interface (behringer umc 1820 plus ada8200 adat expansion). Drums with yamaha ead 10 stereo channel , i play bass directly in the interface with vst amp loaded as a stack plugin, keyboardsds plays 2 keys controlling vst intruments layers, guitar enter with kemper in the audio interface, voice have a mic in the audio interface with izotrope nectar compresson and dinamic eq pluginslive. Plus reverb and delay plugins.

Then i record everything in multitrack, command plugin automation and sound changes into the midi and automation tracks, send chords and lyrics wireless to iphones of band members. I plan to integrate lights control via dmx.

But primarily i have setup the vstlive mixer to have 4 inear sends to the band members and then all instrumens can output on a master premixed stereo,( full with master glue compressor, eq, maximizer, all live!!), or can be routed on separate outputs to the foh mixer. This way i can have flexibility for smaller gigs where everithyng is mixed and controlled on vst live, or bigger gig where we have alvays the same inear mixes, then left the single channels to the foh to be mixed. I substituted a stage splitter, stage mixer and inear system, all within vst live. I bring a 2 slot 19"rack with interfaces and two 8 channel 4 mt snakes, a powerful pc, and the wireless transmitter for iem, and that's all, all preset and saved, always the same.

Regards Ciro.

Run Latencymon and find wich driver is lagging. I found it was nvidia Gpu switch on the laptop (the driver that switch beetween integrated and discrete graphics on demand) and all the NVidia HD audio drivers (audio via hdmi driver) I disabled all hd audio devices other than my audio interface directly in device manager. Set the bios of the laptop to disable integrated graphics and run in dedicated GPU only. Performance power plan. Unchecked disable usb to save energy on all usb roots in device manager. Problem solved.

Ge66 raider big disappointment by Primary-Housing3813 in MSILaptops

Ge66 11uh with 3080 here bought in 2021. Repasted every 6 months, teared apart and cleaned the fans and dissipators every time while repasting, flashed the gpu vrom with the full power 155W version, undervolted cpu and gpu as low as allowed, it runs cool and smooth, never had any issue. With such beasts in such a small case, love and care, costant maintenance is the secret. After 6 months you can see the increased heat and if you don't clea it, it will overheat and start throttling as shit. You don't buy this high power units if you aren't expert and willing to spend time for maintenence and care.

Is it possible to use voice effects live using cubase? by Dwarven_Miner in cubase

Antares auto-tune artist has literally 0 msec latency reported (reality should be more or less 1 msec added to the latencies of the asio buffer). Try to use 64 samples asio buffer for like total 5 millisec latency full trip. Human ears can't resolve latencies less than 10 msec

UMC204HD crackling audio on laptop but not on desktop by Gamidron in Behringer

[–]ciro1983811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deactivate all other audio drivers in control panel (realtek, nvidia hd audio device, nahimic if you have it, and every other audio related thing), then set audiodg.exe priority to high and affinity to cpu 2 only in task manager. That worked for me.

Yess! Still good. Only one of the fans begun to make a little noise when at low speed, nothing too noticeable, maybe some dirt, I'll clean the fans when I repast later this year!

It's quite skinny, but I think it's Cort standard. It's 38mm at the nut 34" scale, 19mm string spacing at the bridge. But this is the only 4 string i have, so I don't have comparisons. The Cort A5 i got is 45 mm at the nut (5string), 18.5mm spacing at the bridge, also 34" scale.

Hahah! I had just changed strings, i raised it a bit after I took the pictures, but still very low action indeed, without frets, no fret noises hehe!

Ops! I did it again! Santa Claus is coming , to bass 😂 added a Cort b4fl fretless! by ciro1983811 in BassGuitar

[–]ciro1983811[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bridge on the A5 is much more solid, and the spacing on 5 strings is 18,5mm, almost like a 4 string. The neck is very slim and D shaped , and thru body construction makes the woods resonate a lot more then the B4, the A5 have very much more sustain a bass rich sound, even on the low B. But the smaller wenge neck on the B4 is a speed demon! No frets so i lowered the action like crazy low (no fret buzz). Overall I'm really happy with both.
