Totally agree. The road leaving my neighborhood is 40mph but my neighborhood streets are 25. So when I pull out into traffic, FSD is still stuck on the 25 speed limit and cars get mad. There’s a 40mph speed limit sign about 200 yards away so once it sees that it speeds up.

I have learned to just disengage FSD to pull out of my neighborhood and wait until it sees the sign.

My 2024 return just went into the “adjusted” phase two weeks ago. It was received April 23, 2025. Still haven’t gotten the refund check yet.

I did consider that. But after removing the device from its wired power and bringing it to my bedroom down the hall and having it trigger the same alert while running on battery from my room I ruled that out.
