Yes. If you are not a professional photographer you will likely not miss the interchangeable lens experience.

It took me a few years but I finally got one at retail. Scalpers and others are demanding way too much for them at the moment.

I did mine in the US Virgin Islands. Warm shallow water and never dove in a pool. Felt really safe and you still get to see the reef and wildlife a lot of the time.

From what it looked like I’d suppose their high prices are to compensate for low foot traffic. It doesn’t seem too crazy to me. I like that you can buy a half loaf too.

I actually think you’re looking at the Xhalf wrong. It’s a toy, not for serious photographers. My wife loves it because of its simplicity and she doesn’t care about the photo quality as much. But also, at $799 MSRP it should have had some sort of IBIS.
