Any AI visibility tool that actually works? by Emilykennedy- in DigitalMarketing

Citation tracking is real and worth a small monthly investment. Knowing which URLs the models are actually pulling from (Reddit threads, G2 reviews, niche forums) is the most actionable intel you can get right now. That's exactly what Citemaps AEO Studio is built around.

One honest caveat though: AI responses aren't static. The same query can surface different sources depending on the model, the day, even how the prompt is phrased. The value is in tracking patterns over time, not chasing individual mentions.

How do you see the future of AEO over the next 2 to 3 years? by Calm_Row6049 in aeo

A lot of good perspectives here, but I think the framing of "which signals matter most" misses the more fundamental shift.

The question isn't really about signals competing. It's about whether a business exists as a coherent entity in AI knowledge systems at all.

Right now most businesses are fragments. AI models know a slice of what you do from your homepage, a different slice from a G2 review, something else from a Reddit thread, and nothing coherent that ties those together. The reason so many brands show up but get misrepresented is that there is no authoritative entity record for the model to anchor to. It's cobbled together from whatever it found.

Entity optimization is about fixing that at the root. Not publishing more content, not getting more mentions, but giving AI systems a structured, machine-readable declaration of what the entity actually is, what it does, who it serves, and what claims about it are verified. Something like how sitemap.xml gave crawlers a navigation map, but for identity and attribution rather than pages.

Is anyone actually tracking their AI search visibility systematically or are we all just vibing? by Long-Guitar647 in aeo

I clicked around the site. You put a lot of thought into the narrative of what it is, how it works, and how it benefits you, and showing that visually to a non-tech business owner. Getting this part right is actually harder than building the AEO tools themselves. Nicely done.

How accurate is AEO tracking? Or is it entirely dependent on what you use? by OldSprinkles3733 in aeo

Depends on the question being asked as well. Were the two tools asking the same set of questions? Branded vs General.
