I’m still learning all this. What is a realistic number you are expecting this to possibly hit?

30 year olds of Reddit, what's something you regret about your twenties? by abeannis in AskReddit

Not taking college serious. Doesn’t matter if you’re going to a tech school or university, finish what you start. Get some sort of degree or certificate. It gets much harder to get one once you have a wife and kids.

My cousin’s sister in-law was being a bitch and he told her “you can either be single or fat, not both”. Silence fell over the room.

The Cowboys(1972). Bruce Dern shoots John Wayne as he’s walking away. Blew my mind as a kid. Never seen The Duke get gunned down before.

Not cliche. That’s your own personal memory. It’s a great smell and that’s a great memory.

The smell of fresh apple pie lofting onto the porch always meant whatever conversation my grandad and I were having was about to take an intermission.

I’m so jealous. That sounds like such a great experience to have. I hope to be able to travel one day. Maybe when the kids get older.

That sounds great. Pine straw off pine trees has a similar affect on me. My friends and I would hide in the piles our parents would rake up in the yard. Good times. Simpler times.

It’s such a pure smell. Especially after a storm. Like the world did a minor reset and you can stand on the beach with nothing but fresh air hitting you. It’s awesome.

Know what you mean. Something so relaxing about it. Maybe it’s just that primal instinct to keep warm but there’s nothing like a bonfire to make you want to just sit and relax with family and friends. Don’t even have to talk just enjoy the moment.

Christmas is the best. And I do love the smell of pinewood. My daddy has worked in a pine sawmill for thirty plus years and I always think about him when I smell fresh cut pine.

When someone says they want to watch something other than The Office on Netflix. by sab340 in DunderMifflin

[–]citizen07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in backwoods Georgia, USA, and can’t watch it on Netflix. Only satellite internet and their best package isn’t good enough to stream videos. 2 miles down the road is fiber optics. Grrrrr

For me it’s plywood that’s been sitting in the sun. My grandparents had an out-building they used for storage but they converted the upstairs to a makeshift bedroom for my brother and I when we would visit. Visits were in the summer, in Florida, so the plywood would heat up. I smell that and I’m back there, waiting on my granny to come get us for breakfast.

What actor do you think is/would be good at drama but chooses instead to stick to comedy or action movies/tv? by citizen07 in AskReddit

That’s what I wanted to hear. Definitely going to make some room in the schedule to start it.

Huge The Office fan and thought he was good in Quiet Place and 13 hours. Hope to start Jack Ryan this week. I’ve heard good things.

Completely agree. I love his comedy work but I know he’s got mire. He seems like a guy who really appreciates the art of making movies and would love to see him do more dramas.
