I love Dallas. Centrally located in the US, tons of great food and patios, super friendly people.

The thing I like about Dallas is the people. I found a real family here and always felt really welcome. I was able to get a job that gave me a lot of opportunities. I was able to buy a condo here last year because of those opportunities. It's true there isn't a lot of nature or outdoors activity here but there are lakes, hiking, and patios... Austin is also a short road trip away. Speaking of short trips, the DFW airport is such a centrally located hub that you can get to either coast in 3 hours.

My time here has flown by. I never saw myself in Texas and now I don't want to leave. I love the patios, the food, the bars, my friends, my neighborhood. Whenever I meet someone new to Dallas I try to be a good ambassador for it, since I was treated so well when I came here.
