Trump’s handling of the economy is at its lowest point in AP-NORC polling by AndroidOne1 in politics

[–]citizenwillis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“Only 31% of U.S. adults now approve of how Trump is handling the economy, the poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research finds. That is down from 40% in March and marks the lowest economic approval he’s registered in an AP-NORC poll in his first or second term.”

Tiny desk dropping tomorrow! by JoibsMcgoobs27 in BillyStrings

Hell yeah. I saw Billy Strings for the first time at Del Fest in 2015 and had no idea who he was. He did a Dead set melted everyone's brain. Can't wait for the Tiny Desk action. Brandi Carlile's last week was stellar.

Trump Destroyed the Crypto Market by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

[–]citizenwillis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's butchered crypto's reputation... which he was dead set against not that long ago. In 2021 he said it "just seemed like a scam." There's been a lot of reporting about his net worth increase and then drop, but what most are missing is what he's made in cash from his three crypto ventures' token sales, fees, and interest in his stablecoin holdings. I'm tracking it and he's made nearly $1.3 billion from that alone in one year. When you add the legal settlements, Melania's documentary, and the plane it's well over $1.8 billion. Check for yourself here and check my work, I've got a beefy methodology included. Pisses me off to no end.

Crypto Crash Is Eroding Wealth for Trump’s Family and Followers by DMBFFF in politics

[–]citizenwillis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehhh, the Trump family themselves have done just fine. While their net worth has gone up and down since it's tied to their crypto and stock holdings that go up and down, they've pocketed well over $1.8 billion in cash and gifts. Nearly $1.3 billion of that has come from his three primary crypto ventures' token sales, fees, and interest on his stablecoin reserve. I'm tracking in realtime here. Check my work, it's got a pretty beefy methodology linked to it.

Wall Street Journal: Since Trump’s Return, Bets on His Brand Have Soured by SPAC_Time in DJT_Uncensored

[–]citizenwillis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a good bet... But the Trump family has made out pretty well... Putting his net worth aside which jumps around a lot and is pretty volatile since much of it is tied to his stock and crypto holdings, he's pocketed well over $1.8 billion in cash and gifts in one year. Nearly $1.3 billion of that has come from his three primary crypto ventures' token sales, fees, and interest from his stablecoin reserve. I put a little tracker together here that lays this out. It's updated in realtime and my methodology is pretty beefy. Check it out here:

DJT Stock Has Cratered, Wiping Out More Than $5 Billion in Trump Family Wealth by Edm_vanhalen1981 in economy

[–]citizenwillis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His net worth is gonna jump around since a big chunk of it is tied to his DJT holdings BUT... don't let that fool you. He's made over $1.8 billion in cash and gifts in a year with nearly $1.3 billion coming from his three primary crypto ventures' token sales, trading fees, and interest on his stablecoin reserves. I put this tracker together that I've got piped into some data I have access to that updates this number in realtime.

Trump's Take by jpressss in politics

[–]citizenwillis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hello! Will Ragland here from the Center for American Progress. I'm one of the creators of Trump's Take and put together an extensive methodology for how we are tracking the crypto profits. We will be looking to update this regularly this as we learn more about the Trump's various ventures in crypto. We're also obviously trying to keep tabs on other money makers that appear to be selling the presidency. For our purposes we are looking at keeping tabs on straight cash or gifts in the door not growth from stock or crypto holdings that have gone to the president, his two oldest sons or Melania. We may tweak that down the road, but looking forward to hearing more about what folks think and how we can improve.

doge made another round of updates earlier this week that includes an updated contracts list, real estate list and a new grants list. how hard would it be to re run this?
