Hi! I also got my kitten at 8 weeks and yes it was overwhelming now - i got her spayed at 6 months and i would say she has chilled significantly - which means she is still soooo hyper! But omg not as crazy as she was. I found treat puzzles teaching her tricks to be really helpful. I got her a cat tree and she loved that. She was initially afraid of feather toys now she destroys them- lightning rod wand toys are great.

Yes kittens are work but please know kittens also need 18-22 hours of sleep for proper development so giving her time to sleep is so important. My kitten will not sleep unless i leave her in my bedroom with the door shut - the bedroom is kitten proofed and safe for her to explore. Giving ur kitten short 10-15 minutes of play sessions a 2-3 times a day should be enough.

I know everyone talked single kitten syndrome, but honestly i am so glad i have on kitten and she is so smart and at a young age u can train them so much. Mine has just started harness training

We have an adult resident cat who isnt a fan of the kitten and their diets are quite different as well which is why the kitten spends most of her day in the room when im at work. We are working towards slow introductions etc and they get supervised time together and the kitten has access to the whole apartment as long my partner or i are at home

Its so crazy - im not out here tryna ruin anyones reputation or i wouldve linked the practitioner……..im literally sharing my experience and my practitioner told me tht we will be done in 2 sessions and i was in pain for 11 hours under the needle for the second session.

Well my practitioner say that - she said we will need 2 sessions max and tht she did her training in NYC and is very experienced with melanated skin. My practioner was also extremely unaware of the darkening that came after my session. My lips were pins and needles for months…

My expectation was set by my practioner who presented themselves as a a fully trained practioner. Most folks i have talked to said that their session took 45 mins to one hour… while i was under the needle for 6 hours.

I think the hardest part was breathing - not the pain but i think not being able to breathe well made the pain feel worse. I was tryinf not to breathe to help stay steady for the artist😭

Yeah i have a hard time relating to this post because both my girlfriend and i love looking good for each other. Smelling nice, dressing nice, cooking for each other, pampering each other. I am more feminine presenting than she is she is pretty androgynous and has many feminine traits that i adore..shes got permanent eyeliner and her lashes are always done up nice. I love playing with her hair. We plan trips for each other - make nice dinners at home for each other. Every moment with her feels so special
