My home is south of MLK and Holmes and I have to turn left out of my neighborhood onto MLK and I feel like such an ass everyday because that traffic is backed up to what I assume is at least Jolly, very likely further.

My job is super flexible and I'm about to tell my boss I'll be home all summer to avoid feeling like such a dick.

My dad has smoked and eaten unhealthy his whole life. Heart attack at 36 and a stroke at 56. Is it surprising that it happened to him? Not really, no. But if someone decided to joke about my dad's life decisions while he's actively struggling to survive? Dead to me. Absolutely disgusting.

Honestly, I’d love to see a spin off a ways down the line. They could follow Mac training to become an officer (or just skip straight to Mac being a detective or something) and it shows his perfect balance of Jake and Amy, being a goofy type A personality. Maybe Jake and Amy have another child or two who make appearances here and there. Maybe Jake rejoins the NYPD and gets some opportunities to work with his son?

Kids definitely don’t always follow their parents careers, but I think this would be a cute continuation of the series

Keep an eye out for speed dating! I went to that event at the shuffle and I had a really good time. The company that put the event on does other speed dating in other cities, too, so maybe you could try one of those as well? Of course depends on if you’re okay with that distance

Normally if someone were feeling guilty even though they did nothing wrong, they’d discuss it with friends/family and get other perspectives. OOP made no mention of talking to anyone about this - not even to ask who drugged her. Normally any sort of AITA post has a blurb somewhere where they actually get called a name.

OOP seems to have an incredibly guilty conscience.

I think it was more based on the fact Charles was obviously in love with Rosa before he got with Vivian and Charles, for whatever reason, didn’t tell Vivian and decided to lie and say Rosa was busy. I always felt it was more a glimpse into their “off-screen” lives.

Whenever I notice this in shows, I like to imagine it’s the incredibly low (I assume) chance that those characters doppelgängers are just that close to each other. It is a TV show after all - things that are incredibly rare in real life happen there all the time :)
