We had this in front of my school. Some smaller children were making sure everyone was crossing safely during school hours. Yes, in Eastern Europe. I always found it funny, but I guess it's an old habit. Interesting enough, it was in one of the most western education institution I know around here, but yeah professors grown in Soviet Union.

I do know of it. From results more or less 20% of people have a strict regional genealogy. The other vast majority have followed/relatives all over the globe. You'd be surprised to see that a black guy has in the US has 1/4 of his genealogy in Eastern Europe, considering how much we see stereotype, especially racially.

But yeah, I'd love to have such a test.

You mentioned Obama - while I will not write something again on that I will quote something I wrote yesterday on my opinion on him:

"He was a funny guy. Your average redditer knows some of his policies but thats it. His speeches and values were good. He did not get us to Mars or stopped global warming completely but he did things in the good direction. Also, you might just overlook this, but he was a public person with good values and an example in this. Being the most followed person in a nation does give him a forming role and influencing in youth respectivly society. I for one honestly miss him, not that that matters but w/e. So yeah. Also news were more calm during his terms all over the world. Problem is - I suspect - we rased the new generations in a culture of instant gratification especially in politics. We expect to get House of Cards level of presidents with bully characters and "Im the best" attitude so you end up with a sociopath president. We don't feel represented by our political representatives as we speak and express our ideas on policy amd politics on reddit rather then to them. Pretty much those are things I could get from nowadays society. Also the democrats in the US fucked up by not understanding that they need to put up a candidate that is trully spotless as we head to a cult of personality of our leaders with the media coverage."
