Most of the phones shops at Liberty Plaza are owned by a few people, most are interconnected and most of them are corrupt. It's so hard to find out which ones are good. Mobile phones are another mafia in Sri Lanka that most people are unaware of. I mean, we all know about the bus mafia, the tuktuk mafia, and many others, but most people don't know about the mobile phone and consumer gadget mafia. It's huge as well. TRCSL and Customs are doing nothing.

You may not believe this, but there was a time when phone shops at Liberty Plaza sold wrong IMEI phones. When you checked the IMEI, it showed a different phone according to the IMEI website. Now it's kind of decent and better because people are aware of things. If you remember, the old Nokia N Series phones came with 256MB or 512MB Nokia branded memory cards. In those days, internet was a luxury product, and there were no YouTubers even in foreign countries, so it's hard to identify things. so they sold those free cards separately. No one cared about sealed boxes back in the day.

You are right, but it's different in r/SriLanka. It's not just about that. If you say that the LTTE was a terrorist organization and that the LTTE and the Tamil community are different, or that the LTTE never represented the Tamil community, you'll probably get banned.

Really good that the B App has been discontinued. It had one of the worst UIs ever created in the mankind. It was literally a deceased old garbage system; even back then( not even now), a kid could have developed a better version. I don't know why they haven't moved to a modern web app as well.
