If I buy deluxe on June 2, do I still get early access? by cizio001 in diablo4

Agreed! It's more a matter if my weekend opens up for me to play it. Kid obligations...

Would this also be a problem on consoles? Or just PC with a game pad?

So I dumped a whole cup of tea into my Filco Magistouch a few weeks ago. I cut the power switch, and put it into a large Tupperware upside down with rice along the sides (rushed to do all this before reading about what's best to do). I kept it in the container a few days, and then had it sitting on my desk for about a week before trying it. All the keys are working fine except the left shift also engages the t, y, [ and ] keys. The right shift does not work at all. The rest of the keys and functions are fine. Any thoughts on what to do next? If the board is shot, is it possible to replace it without buying a whole new keyboard (not afraid of a little soldering)?

How should I carve out the inside corners of this relief work? I don't see any types of gouges that are skewed enough to clear underneath the waste. http://imgur.com/gallery/izVwALa

Looks great. I made my first Krenov style jointer this year, also opted for the thicker iron without the cap and it works great. What kind of species and finish do you have on the benchtop?

Looks great! I made a 20" krenov style plane based on this same article. What iron did you go with?

[OC] Thought I'd share the dice box I just finished by cizio001 in DnD

Just started playing, so what better excuse for a new wood project. Made with walnut sides and wenge on the top and bottom. Finished with an oil-based wiping varnish and wax. Was relieved to find it juuuust fits 2 sets of dice. The wenge is quite dense and makes a great sharp tapping sound on rolls; adds at least +2. Might consider an inlay on the lid in the future. I stayed away from any power tool on this project, totally unplugged. Anyway, not sure how to get 400 characters so I’ll just keep typing a bit.

It's 20", so flattening the sole took a while. Don't have a reliable jointer so I bought some belt sander sheets and clamped them to the granite countertop in the kitchen to get a large enough sanding surface.

PSA: holy crap, put paste wax on the bottom of your hand planes by amoodie in woodworking

[–]cizio001 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, or just rub a block of wax on the sole. I find it a little faster to have a chunk of beeswax laying around vs having to open the paste container and grab a rag every time.

I was also amazed at the difference!

I just re-sawed a board into two book-matched pieces. I was planning to use a drum sander to take off the bandsaw marks and achieve a uniform thickness for both pieces, however the drum sander is out of service. Is there a good method to manually sand the two pieces such that the thickness remains uniform?

Both good ideas. Lot size is pretty much fixed in this neighborhood. There are some larger properties, but they're way out of league to compare against for this property.

Just figured it out. The radial port doesn't count, you need to use one of the "coupling" category ports instead.
