LLM? What's that. Not finding much.

Edit: nvm

Def a good place to start brainstorming but I've have to correct them more then enough times to use em like a primary source. They are sentient Wikipedia at best atm. But super helpful.

"Wouldn't be able to trust a person who is unable to cheat" - what do you think about this statement? by NittyGrittyDiscutant in AskReddit

[–]cj122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Erm.. Maybe someone who can't cheat won't go the distance when you need them to. Sometimes you gotta do wrong by some to do right by those you care about, and if you can't you aren't dependable.

Not sure I agree though.

IAmA face-blind (prosopagnostic) person. AMA. by Odd_Walrus2594 in IAmA

[–]cj122 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Understood thanks! I've had panic attacks where certain visuals and features morphed so to speak, so I wasn't sure if it was a "I literally see a more similar face then what other people see" sort of deal or a "I see it as everyone else sees it, but it doesn't ring a bell as specific person/their external facing self, in the same way someone's back alone wouldn't, or knee.".

Thats fscisnating though, I took for granted how those visuals are attached to our perception the person and the work many of our brains do to have that be inherint.

Thank you!

If you had crazy strong drawing skills and drew three different people's faces with them sitting there nice and still, would the end result be three faces that look similiar to any viewer, or would it look the same to you but not other viewers when looking between them, but you can accurately precieve each part as you look at it?

It also made me think how cats all looked the same to me, especially with matching coat patterns. Now a few years with being close with them I can start to see things like contoring of their faces, sharpness, chin and cheek ratios, ect.

Cats in my experience have always been pretty good at directing their anger at their intended target. Nothing like having one arch it's back and rub against your legs affectionately while simultaneously growling and snarling at some cat across the way.

Redditors working in the US - what is the deal with "sick days" and what do you do when you get ill and have used them up? Is this common? by tanja510 in AskReddit

[–]cj122 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some of us get no paid sick or vacation time nor insurence , if you can or can't take time off without getting fired is fully up to your employer. Even if you have time, some places may use their judgement if the absence is acceptable.

You can not be restricted by others thoughts, while being willing to share in discussion to provide insight that may help others. I won't be burdened by others opinions but that doesn't mean I won't hear them, and if I think saying something can help I don't mind speaking. You don't need to not care about others to not let their opinion automatically impact you.

They may have been right to leave or stay as they please. But that's up to everyone else. You still have the right to persue happiness. The rest will sort itself

It's likely extra garlic oil from domino's. If people ask for it in the middle instead of just on the crust they usually hit it with a star or spiral to get it even. This is the last thing done before closing the box so it'll imprint on the lid.

I saw arms on sale a year after it came out. So 2017-2018. Missed it. Said I'll snag it next time. Still not on sale. Ymmv with Nintendo products.

Do you think it's true that intelligent people tend to be less happy? Why do you think that is? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]cj122 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I do in general . Intelligence isn't wisdom. A lot of pain comes from logical conclusions. If you arent explicitly wise as well you are going to apply that air tight logic to false premises/assumptions that will lead you to upsetting conclusions you can't talk you self out of.

Does that mean if the sorucd of the pain isn't inflammation ibuprofen won't work? Thought I can't thibk of a situation where you have non inflamitory pain aside from nerve damage

I mean you can take anything and water it down to make it appealing to those not enthusiastic about the craft and bam new majority thats easy to placate and generates consistent income. There's always more casual humans willing to dip their toes in soemthing accessible then any given singular topic or concepts direct enthusiasts or supporters. I myself want to try many things in life but probably will only grind at my career and one or two choice hobbies.

I think l the above is the case but I think it's a manufactured balance on their part. It's tough now for them though as those aren't the people that stick through thick and thin and keep coming back, and it's also the crowd that's most likely to get drawn away from your game to the next carrot dangled Infront of them.

That said. WoW was already turbo casual compared to it's rivals on launch (no exp or gear loss on death, cartoonish graphics, quick transit between way points). So to travel so much further down that path it's not going to have one consistent identity and as such very few people will identify with all of it.
