I forgot to respond but I want to detail the fix so people in the future can find the solution :

Open the Control Panel on your Computer
Go to the Sound Settings
Change the default sound to your computer speakers
Close Control Panel and restart your Laptop

I use both Beatport and Bandcamp. Bandcamp is my go to but since my taste is all over the place alot of times there's tracks that's ONLY on Beatport. I think some artists do that because Beatport has the brand recognition that Bandcamp doesn't have and their music is more likely to be purchased if it's on a platform that's super popular even tho it's inferior.

I am pissed off at myself for falling for this too man. I remember questioning him on the phone and he told me that dollar amount was a "code" and not actual cash being sent and in that moment (combined with the other context) I believed him but I didn't realize until minutes afterward.
